Rebuilt defense allowed just 234 yards to Bills. DT Michael Dean Perry, acquired in offseason, had a sack, as did former No. 1 pick DE Dan Williams. Perry, however, suffered knee injury and will miss about 3 weeks. Held Bills to 60 yards rushing and 3.0 yards per rush.

New starter S Brock Marion had 5 tackles and an INT last week. DE Tony Tolbert had sack vs. Giants and unit allowed only 211 total yards. CB Kevin Smith suffered Achilles tendon injury and will likely miss season.
