LAST GAME -- Cowboys scored 36 second-half points to come from behind and defeated Packers on Thanksgiving. Eagles lost their third straight game 28-21 in Falcons.
COWBOYS OFFENSE -- RUSH (No. 3), PASS (No. 9), OVERALL (No. 5)
Gained 436 yards vs. Packers defense, one of league's best. Third-string QB Jason Garrett threw for 311 yards and two TDs last week. Despite Garrett's strong performance, QB Rodney Peete will most likely be in lineup this week. RB Emmitt Smith ran for 133 yards, caught six passes for 95 yards an d scored his league-best 16th and 17th TDs last week.
EAGLES OFFENSE -- RUSH (No. 9), PASS (No. 10), OVERALL (No. 9)
QB Randall Cunningham was sacked five times last week and has gone three games without throwing TD. His rating is 76.1 (10th in NFC). RB Herschel Walker scored two TDs last week, one on 91-yard run. Walker's run accounted for 29 percent of Eagles yards last week. Held ball only 23:32 second vs. Falcons. WR Fred Barnett leads team with 57 catches and 879 yards receiving.
COWBOYS DEFENSE -- RUSH (No. 8), PASS (No. 2), OVERALL (No. 1)
31 points allowed to Packers was most this season. Previous high was 21 points. MLB Robert Jones made 12 tackles last week. DE Charles Haley took team-lead in sacks with his 7.5 last week. DT Chad Hennings and DE Jim Jeffcoat have seven sacks each. Unit leads NFC with 35 sacks. Safeties James Wa shington and Darren Woodson have combined for nine INTs.
EAGLES DEFENSE -- RUSH (No. 10), PASS (No. 6), OVERALL (No. 4)
Allowed 418 yards to Falcons, but did have three INTs. S Greg Jackson had his fifth INT and led team with nine tackles. Team's 31 sacks rank third in NFC. DE William Fuller has gone four games without recording sack after notching eight in first eight games. DT Andy Harmon had his seventh sack v s. Falcons.
SPECIAL TEAMS -- Cowboys K Chris Boniol has scored 102 points, tops among NFC kickers. KR Kevin Williams has 28.9-yard average on kickoff returns (first in NFC). ... Eagles K Eddie Murray has 67 points and is 13-for-16 on FGs.
STATS, STREAKS, AND NOTES -- Cowboys could clinch division title with win this week. ... Walker's 91-yard run for a touchdown was longest in NFL since Bo Jackson ran 92 yards for one against Cincinnati on Nov. 5, 1989. His run also broke club-record 90-yarder by Wilbert Montgomery in 1982. ... E agles' three-game losing streak is their first with Cunningham starting since September 1988. ... Eagles CB Eric Allen had his 34th career INT, tying club record by Bill Bradley. ... Cowboys are 20-6 in their first game after Thanksgiving. ... In his last five games vs. Eagles, Smith has rushed for 792 yards against Philadelphia for a 5.9 average, including 237 yards last year on Halloween.
