	RECORD VS. SPREAD -- Bengals 3-4; Cowboys 4-3.
	SERIES RECORD -- Cowboys lead 3-2.
	LAST TIME MET -- In 1991 Cowboys defeated Bengals 35-23 at Texas
Stadium.
	LAST GAME -- Cowboys swept season series with Cardinals with
28-21 win. Bengals had 13-10 halftime lead before losing to Browns
37-13.
	COWBOYS OFFENSE -- RUSH (No. 5), PASS (No. 11), OVERALL (No. 7t)
	QB Troy Aikman was knocked out of last week's game with
concussion after throwing TD pass in first quarter. He will most
likely play. Rodney Peete relieved and played well (12-for-19 for
186 yards and two TDs). WR Michael Irvin had his second straight
100-yard game last week (115 yards on five catches). RB Emmitt
Smith leads league in TDs (nine) and is third in NFC in rushing
(656 yards).
	BENGALS OFFENSE -- RUSH (No. 17), PASS (No. 28), OVERALL (No. 27)
	Offense scoring only 14.4 points per game will now be starting
third-string QB Jeff Blake. QB David Klingler sprained his knee
last week and backup Don Hollas separated his shoulder. Rookie WR
Darnay Scott leads team with 370 yards receiving and is averaging
18.5 yards per catch. RB Steve Broussard is team's leading rusher
with 246 yards.
	COWBOYS DEFENSE -- RUSH (No. 13), PASS (No. 1), OVERALL (No. 1)
	Had only one sack and no INTs last week. Their 23 sacks are tied
for first in NFL and 12 INTs are second in NFC. DE Jim Jeffcoat
leads team with six sacks. DE Charles Haley has 5.5 sacks. S Darren
Woodson leads team with four INTs. Only team in NFL holding
opponents under 50 percent completion percentage (48.0 percent).
	BENGALS DEFENSE -- RUSH (No. 26t), PASS (No. 11), OVERALL (No.
19)
	Unit continues to play fairly well. Held Browns to 240 yards. S
Louis Oliver had his third INT of season last week. He leads team.
DT Dan Wilkinson recorded his first career sack vs. Browns and was
in on four tackles. DE Alfred Williams leads team with six sacks.
	SPECIAL TEAMS -- Cowboys K Chris Boniol leads NFC in scoring with
55 points. He is 11-for-13 on FGs and perfect (8-for-8) inside 40
yards. ... Special teams were disaster last week for Bengals. In
third quarter, fumbled punt by PR Corey Sawyer led to Browns FG. On
consecutive punts, one was blocked and recovered in end zone for TD
and second was returned 73 yards for TD.
	STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES -- Cowboys have won six straight road
games, one short of team record set in 1968. ... Aikman extended
his team record of TD passes in consecutive games to 14. ... Dallas
is 44-2 when Smith runs 20 or more times. ... Bengals WR Tim McGee
has 4,680 yards receiving to move into fourth place on team's
career list past Bob Trumpy with 4,630. ... Bengals play three of
next four games at home. ... Cowboys OT Eric Williams was involved
in car accident this week. He suffered knee and wrist injuries and
may miss rest of season.
