	LINE -- Dallas by 13.
	RECORD VS. SPREAD -- Cardinals 1-3; Cowboys 2-2.
	SERIES RECORD -- Cowboys lead 40-22-1.
	LAST TIME MET -- Cowboys swept season series last year with 20-15
win over Cardinals.
	LAST GAME -- Cardinals beat Vikings 17-7 to give Buddy Ryan his
first win. Cowboys easily handled Redskins 34-7.
	CARDINALS OFFENSE -- RUSH (No. 22), PASS (No. 22), OVERALL (No.
27)
	NFL's lowest-scoring team (11.5 points per game). QB Jay
Schroeder led offense to its best showing of season. Gained 309
yards against Vikings defense which is among best in NFL. Schroeder
was 20-for-36 for 221 yards. Running game had its best game with
109 yards vs. Vikings. RB Ron Moore had 82 yards rushing.
	COWBOYS OFFENSE -- RUSH (No. 2), PASS (No. 16), OVERALL (No. 6)
	RB Emmitt Smith is third in NFC with 452 yards rushing and leads
conference with five rushing TDs. He strained his hamstring in last
week's game and is questionable this week. RB Lincoln Coleman had
74 yards on 22 carries replacing Smith. He'll make first career
start if Smith can't go. QB Troy Aikman once again relied mostly on
short passes. He completed 20 of 28 for 181 yards.
	CARDINALS DEFENSE -- RUSH (No. 2), PASS (No. 2), OVERALL (No. 4)
	Defense continued to shine vs. Vikings. Allowed 340 yards
passing, but only 18 yards rushing. Allowing 18.3 points per game.
CB Aeneas Williams had his team-leading second INT vs. Vikings. He
will match up with WR Michael Irvin most of day. OLB Seth Joyner
has INT and 1.5 sacks. Defensive line has been spectacular as DT
Eric Swann, DT Michael Bankston and DE Clyde Simmons have combined
for 7.5 sacks.
	COWBOYS DEFENSE -- RUSH (No. 19), PASS (No. 1), OVERALL (No. 1)
	Held Redskins and rookie QB Heath Shuler to 110 yards last week.
OLB Darrin Smith had another good game vs. Redskins with five
tackles, two sacks, forced fumble and fumble recovery. Allowing
132.0 yards passing per game and holding opposing quarterbacks to
45.6 completion percentage (NFL best). DE Charles Haley is second
in NFC with 5.5 sacks. Tied for second in NFL with 17 sacks.
	SPECIAL TEAMS -- Cardinals' Greg Davis is lowest-scoring kicker
in league with 16 points. KR Patrick Robinson is second in NFC in
kickoff returns (25.0). ... Cowboys K Chris Boniol is second among
NFC kickers with 37 points. He is 9-for-9 on FGs.
	STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES -- Cardinals coach Buddy Ryan has never
had team start better than 2-2 in six seasons as head coach. During
his five-year stint in Philadelphia, Ryan's teams started 1-3, 1-3,
1-3, 2-2, and 1-3. Last three seasons there his teams made
playoffs. ... Cowboys have beaten Cardinals seven straight
meetings. ... 18 yards rushing allowed by Cardinals was lowest by
team since holding Eagles to 14 yards in 1983. ... Former Cowboys
and 1994 Hall of Fame inductees Randy White (1975-88) and Tony
Dorsett (1977-87) will be inducted into Dallas' Ring of Honor at
halftime.
