Rookie running back ReShard Lee is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Tuesday to repair cartilage damage suffered in Friday night’s 34-6 win over the Houston Texans.
Lee was injured with 3:35 left in the game on a rin up the middle. The sprain was thought to be severe, but more tests revealed it was a minor injury. After surgery, he is expected to miss between two and four weeks.
Lee had been pushing for the third running back job.
